Road Safety Visit Year 1
Stop, Look, Listen, Think was the message from the Warrington Road Safety Officer yesterday. The children loved the story books and teddy reflectors that they were given too!

Reception learn about Ramadan
Recently, we had the pleasure of one of our grown ups joining us in class. Lucy came to talk to us about Ramadan. We learnt how to say words in Arabic and found out lots of information about Ramadan and what it means. Reception thought that fasting all day would be very hard but loved the idea of celebrating the end of Ramadan. The children sat beautifully and listened really well.

Year 3 Pneumatic toys.
We are planning, designing and preparing to make a pneumatic toy.
We’ve been finding out about the pressure of air and how it works when using syringes and tubes. It was fun and we are very excited about this unit of work. All will be revealed soon!

Year 3 Fossils
We’ve been finding out about what fossils are, where we could possibly find fossils, learning about the stages of the fossilisation process and we even made our own fossils too.
We now know the different stages of fossilisation and the three different types of fossils. Interesting!

Y4 Scientists 🧪👩🏼🔬👨🏼🔬
Year 4 have been having lots of fun during our Science experiments this week. We have been looking at how to change the pitch of a sound & how sound travels. Drum making, balloon chatting & the singing bottles were a definite hit!
PE What's been going on
Year 4 Football Success
A team of Year 4 footballers went to the Cliff training grounds in Manchester this morning to take part in a tournament. They play 7 games against other local schools and were great ambassadors for the school.
Out of the 7 games they drew one and won the rest! Meaning that they came out as overall winners. We are very proud of them all.

Dancing Success!
Bradshaw celebrated an amazing 2nd place in the Great Big Dance Off National Schools Dance Competition regional heats on Thursday. Schools from all over the North West performed at the Parr Hall and the standard of dance was excellent. This exceedingly talented group of Bradshaw dancers have now secured themselves a place in the Grand Final to be held in London later this year. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to you all!
